A message from Isla Winter!

Good afternoon from the depths of my keyboard!

You may have noticed that this newsletter is coming from a different platform... that's because I discovered this one recently, and once I got playing around with it, I generally preferred it to Substack. So, I've made the switch over! You'll want to make sure that you add this email to a safe sender list to get all the updates! Speaking of which... let's give some updates since the release of With This Witch almost a month ago!

First, I am quite happy with how With This Witch has been received so far. As a debut indie author, I've done quite well in the first few weeks (I think), and I am happy that the story is generally being well-received. Truly, I have you to thank for all of this. Your support for this story means that I can do this. I wouldn't be here without you, and I am forever grateful that you have given With This Witch a chance!

Second, how about some (very) early details about book 2?! I've already talked on social media about some of the vibes or details for book 2, which includes sapphic and bi representation, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and one bed, but I haven't revealed our focus characters—until now. Are you ready?

Sloan Wilks!!!

Gasp! Shock! Surprise!

Seriously, I am so in love with this pairing. Daisy is a bit of a hot mess and is going through some things, and Sloan is not as ruthless and cold as she appeared in With This Witch. Sloan has a soft side and, as you'll learn, has been misunderstood for much of her life.

The banter between them is fun, and I love seeing how they are coming together! I hope you will, too!
